New Offices for BLB

BLB House

BLB Surveyors and BLB Engineers are pleased to announce that we have moved to brand new and much larger offices.

Since moving to Pavilion House some 9 years ago our business has grown considerably and many of our clients will be aware that we have been looking for new premises for some time. Our new offices are based at the recently completed business park at Hunns Mere Way, Brighton and provide a fresh and exciting environment for our staff and management teams to work in. Add to that the ease of access and parking availability for both clients and staff and we believe we have found the perfect location for the future development of our business.

Our new address and contact details are:

BLB House
15-16 Hunns Mere Way
BRIGHTON
BN2 6AH

All e-mail addresses stay the same.

More Than A Degree of Success

Congratulations to Grant Crossley and Rob Scott, both Building Surveyors with BLB, who have recently graduated with first class honours from their respective Building Surveying degrees. Both Grant and Rob have worked extremely hard over the last few years, undertaking their degree courses on a day release basis whilst gaining invaluable day to day experience at BLB.

Grant will now continue with his professional training with a view to becoming Chartered in 2011. For Rob, this is his second degree having already achieved a BA(Hons) in Interior Architecture.

We wish them both every success with their ongoing plans to achieve full qualification and in their future careers.

NewProjects

Pitney Bowes HQ

We have recently completed the detailed financial feasibility study for the refurbishment and/or rebuilding of Pitney Bowes' UK and European HQ in Harlow. In order for Pitney Bowes to protect their no. 1 position in their specific market place, the board and managers have identified the need to create an environment that will satisfy the needs of the business moving forward. BLB Surveyors are delighted to have been appointed as Cost Managers to oversee and deliver this multi-million pound investment in their property portfolio.

Ashford Gateway Plus

BLB Surveyors, along with architects Burns Guthrie & Partners, have been appointed by Kent County Council to act on the proposed new Ashford Gateway Plus project in Ashford, Kent.  The new building will incorporate library facilities as well as training rooms, function suites, activity areas and civil ceremony rooms.  The project has a construction budget of £5.8million.
